POLICIES & REPORTS

Reports.png

At Diamond Hearts Home Care, we believe trust grows from openness, accountability and a genuine commitment to learning. Our key policies and statutory reports reflect the standards we hold ourselves to every day, showing how we safeguard the people we support, uphold our values and meet our regulatory responsibilities as a Scottish care provider.

We want the people who use our services, their families and our wider community to feel confident in how we work. That’s why we share clear information about our approach to safety, quality, rights and continuous improvement. You’ll find documents here that explain how we make decisions, how we respond when things go wrong and how we learn and grow as an organisation.

Whether you’re exploring our service for the first time or simply wanting to understand more about how we operate, these policies and reports offer a transparent view of the standards that guide our service.

Duty of Candour Annual Report
As a Scottish care provider, we are required under the Health (Tobacco, Nicotine etc. and Care) (Scotland) Act 2016 to publish an annual Duty of Candour report. This report summarises any unintended or unexpected incidents that caused harm, how we responded, what we learned and the improvements we made.

Being open and honest is central to how we work and our Duty of Candour report shows the steps we take to support people when things go wrong and how we use these experiences to strengthen the safety and quality of our service.
